Made for Two by Karen Lanfestey
MY RATING 4/5 stars
Diane teaches at an inner city Chicago school and breaks up a fight and somehow becomes suspended for questionable involvement. During her suspension she decides to go back to her hometown. She goes in search of her old boyfriend who decides he wants nothing to do with her or does he?
Diane goes in search of her old flame and he turns her away because he doesn’t want her to see what he’s been keeping from her. He decided after college and after they couldn’t agree to live in the same place, that he would try to live life more fully and feels he was punished for it.
I thought this was a sweet story that literally warmed my heart. I could feel the love they both shared with each other and could relate to that second-chance-at-love feeling.
